McCall Adventure

We had a marvelous five days in McCall, Idaho last week with the family. Many thanks to Anna and Court for getting us organized, finding the location and making it happen.

We ate
Played by Payette Lake
Hiked in the park
Celebrated three birthdays

While the others mountain biked or skated Friday, I took a side trip up Lick Creek, past Little Payette Lake

To the summit
Then hiked into Duck Lake

And picked a few huckleberries
Saturday, we golfed (poorly) in the morning and floated down the Salmon in the afternoon. We ended Saturday night with a campfire and s'mores.

Whittle Wedding

Sarah Whittle and Brian Stuhr were married last eve. Lovely wedding, beautiful evening, moonrise, etc. Sarah received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy last week. Brian has one more year of studies in landscape architecture. Our congratuations to them both.

Kalopa Redux

The day Court dropped her first week's friends at the airport, she picked up Elizabeth for the second week. This afternoon we reprised the visit to Kalopa. Slightly different walk in the woods. Thought this was an interesting tree -- banyon, I think.
