So where's the best place to live?

Looks to me like Idaho is definitely up there. Virginia looks good if you don't ride a motorcycle! Iowa might keep me feeling young, but Maine might help me feel superior. Kansas and Georgia look like the lands of opportunity for Docs. Where to go?

Winter in Waimea

Snow again Friday night -- light, but down a ways. Looks like more tonight. Hope so. Love winter!

New Year's Day

This morning Christian and Jim went surfing, so the the girls and I went for a walk on Mana Road.

After lunch, we took a little hike up above Anna Ranch.

It was a beautiful afternoon.

New Year's Eve

Friday eve the kiddies decided we should hike up to the top of Buster Brown (Hokuula) to watch the sunset. It was beautiful when we took off. Our destination.

Vog blew in as we climbed up, so the wonderful sunset didn't materialize. Still my niece Dani thought it pretty enough for a picture.

After we returned home, we had a wonderful dinner.

Waipio Valley

Thursday afternoon we drove down to Waipio Valley where Christian and Jim caught a few waves. It was overcast but quiet and pretty.
We had a full load going back up the mountain.
