Mom turned 90 on April 12, so Liz suggested we have a celebration last weekend, similar to the one we had for Dad three years ago. The highlight for me was surprising Mom by showing up on her doorstep Friday eve. It was wonderful to spend Friday and Saturday eves with my folks, to see so much family at the party and to spend Sunday with Rob and Anna and family, Court and Todd, and Whit.
Here are Uncle Mayo and Aunt Elsie with Mom and Dad.

Thanks to Liz for getting us organized, Lisa for putting together the family scrapbook, Terry and Angela for the food and decorations, and all for making the party such a special event.

Turns out I'm so glad we did the party and you and I could be there. It was a really nice weekend.
It was a great weekend, I'm glad you made it. We have a good family.
It was a great party. Good to see you. I think a family reunion is a great idea- we're all for camping in your front yard ;)
I'm glad we got to be there. So fun to see everyone, briefly.
And thanks to you for making the long voyage to be there. I'm glad we did it.
Sorry we missed you but it must have been a quick turnaround.
